Yemen.. a military operation against terrorist elements in the Nisab of Shabwa

Shabwa Defense Forces launched a military operation to purify the Nissab district from terrorist elements that have recently been active in the district in coordination with the terrorist Houthi militia, according to field sources, indicating that the operation aims to eliminate the remaining terrorists fleeing Abyan.

In addition, 4 soldiers of the Shabwa Defense Forces were injured, as a result of the explosion of an explosive device that targeted their patrol in the Al-Majaza area in the center of Al-Rawdha district in Shabwa.

The operation in Nisab coincided with the outbreak of battles between the forces stationed in Shabwa and the Houthi terrorist militia on the Hareeb front, south of Marib, following an attempt to infiltrate Houthi elements into the district.

In Marib, the fronts of the Ramli axis in the Al-Juba district, south of the governorate, witnessed an armed confrontation between the Yemeni army forces and the resistance on the one hand, and the Houthi militia on the other, following the latter's attempt to advance towards strategic areas between the eastern Balak and Al-Aarif front, according to field sources, confirming that the Houthis suffered heavy losses. .

In Saada, the Yemeni army forces thwarted an attempt to infiltrate Houthi elements towards their positions in the Jarai area of the border district of Munabbih with Saudi Arabia, and inflicted heavy losses on them.

In Taiz, a school student was wounded in the east of the city by a Houthi sniper stationed in Al-Qasr roundabout.

In Hodeidah, two civilians, including a child, were killed and another injured when two mines left by the Houthi militia exploded in the districts of Al Hawak and Al Tuhayta, south of the governorate.

In Dhamar, south of Sana'a, a meeting was held between Houthi leaders and others from the terrorist al-Qaeda organization, with the aim of extending coordination between the two sides. In the meeting, 17 prisoners from al-Qaeda were released, who had been in Jahran prison in Dhamar since the era of the previous regime, as a sign of the Houthis' intention.

Regarding peace efforts, informed sources confirmed that great progress has been made in the files presented by the government to the dialogue sponsored by the United Nations, represented by the payment of salaries of government employees according to the 2014 statements, the release of prisoners and abductees all for all, and the opening of roads with the extension and expansion of the truce.

While the sources questioned the militia's commitment to what was agreed upon, a Yemeni statistician stated that the Houthis had reneged on 100 agreements and covenants since the group's inception, most of them with the Yemeni tribes that are currently being abused.

In Sana'a, armed confrontations broke out between tribesmen in the Hamedan district, north of the capital, and the Houthi militia, over the militia's violations against Hamedan tribesmen three weeks ago.

Tribal sources said that the clashes between the two sides centered in the Al-Jahiliya area of the district, which has been besieged by the militias for days, against the backdrop of its refusal to recruit fighters and cede its lands to Houthi elements from Saada, in light of the continued abuse of the people of Al-Asha and Beit Dudah by the Houthis.
