The wave of violence hit their area - living near a blown-up gate: "Feel more unsafe"

In recent weeks, Stockholm has been hit by a series of bombings and shootings, events that are linked to conflicts between criminal groups.

The explosion in Enskededalen took place on December 27 and the police believe that it is part of an ongoing gang conflict.

Juli and her friend Liv, who also lives nearby, have felt worried after the incident.

- It doesn't feel very funny.

It feels more unsafe, says Liv, 10 years old.
