On Saturday, the season premiere of Drag story hour started at the city library in Malmö, the eleventh in the series.

But what stands out from the ordinary is that it has been a tumultuous autumn to say the least, where politicians and writers have criticized Lady Busty and Miss Shameless for their fairytale moments with children.

- The love we receive outweighs everything and threats, we are so incredibly grateful for the support we have received, says Lady Busty.

- Yes, it goes straight to the heart, Miss Shameless fills in.

Politicians and debaters have said that you are indoctrinating children, what do you say about that?

- We have been doing this now for six years, if we had dabbled with it as they claim, the libraries would not have booked us.

It's hard to fathom that we're having this discussion in 2023. It's about story time and books, says Miss Shameless.

Message about self-esteem

Their message to those who wonder how their storytimes go is that they can come and see for themselves what it's all about.

- If you like yourself, you can also let others in and like others, those are the conversations we have at the story times.

It's so fantastically nice to experience a fairytale moment, and to see what it's all about before you judge it, says Lady Busty.
