On the 20th local time, German Defense Minister Pistorius stated at the Ramstein Air Force Base that the Ukrainian Defense Contact Group meeting held that day failed to reach an agreement on the supply of German-made Leopard tanks to Ukraine.

Pistorius also stated that he has asked the German Wehrmacht and the manufacturer of the "Leopard" tank to investigate the existing quantity and status of this weapon, so that if a new decision is made in the future, it can be delivered to Ukraine.

On the same day, the Ukrainian Defense Liaison Group meeting was held at the Ramstein Air Force Base of the US military stationed in Germany.

US Defense Secretary Austin, German Defense Minister Pistorius, British Defense Secretary Wallace, Ukrainian Defense Minister Reznikov and NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg were present.

The main topic of the meeting was how to further provide assistance to Ukraine, including the provision of German-made "Leopard" tanks and other issues.

Before the meeting, German Chancellor Scholz and Defense Minister Pistorius both stated that they would not provide German-made tanks to Ukraine without the United States not supplying American-made tanks.
