Race Of Champions is one of the world's biggest motorsport competitions with top drivers from various series such as Formula 1, Nascar, IndyCar, Le Mans, World Rally and Rallycross.

The competition takes place next weekend and preparations are already in full swing at Pite havsbad.

"Don't float away"

During the week, the track will be completed and on Wednesday the drivers will get into the cars to train for the weekend's race.

This year, the organizers hope that the course will stay and not float away like it did last year, and had to be redone up on the beach.

- We have learned from what happened last year, but we had a plan A, B and C but had to go to plan D. But this year we are more prepared, says Fredrik Johansson, president ROC who is looking forward to a exciting weekend.

- The track is faster than last year and all drivers drive identical cars, so it is only driver skill that determines who wins, says Johansson.

The prestigious competition brings together some of the world's best drivers to determine who is the best of the best.
