A woman
shot
her husband to death this Saturday at the Daytona Beach hospital where he was hospitalized in a terminal condition and then barricaded himself in the room, police said in that city on the east coast of Florida (USA).
A police statement said they are trying to convince the armed woman that she should leave the room and turn herself in.
Police asked people not to go near the scene, although the statement said the woman no longer "poses a threat to staff and patients."
The area of AdventHealth Hospital where the woman is located has been evacuated.
