The US Department of Defense has announced that it will provide military support worth approximately 320 billion yen, including armored vehicles, to Ukraine, where Russia's military invasion continues.

On the 19th, the US Department of Defense announced that it will provide military aid worth $2.5 billion, equivalent to approximately 320 billion yen in Japanese yen, to Ukraine, where Russia's military aggression continues.

According to this, in terms of military assistance, we will

provide 90 armored vehicles "Stryker" for the first time.

The "Stryker" is a highly mobile troop carrier and is intended to support the rapid deployment of Ukrainian troops.

In addition,

▽ 59 armored vehicles "Bradley infantry fighting vehicles" with both mobility and firepower will be additionally provided.

In addition, in light of the ongoing missile attacks by the Russian military in various parts of Ukraine, we will also provide

additional shells for the ▽ air defense missile system "Nasamus" and

▽ eight mobile air defense systems "Avenger".

On the other hand, tanks that Ukraine is requesting Western countries to provide were not included in this military aid.

According to the US Department of Defense, since Russia's military invasion began in February last year, military aid to Ukraine has totaled $26.7 billion, or more than 3.4 trillion yen in Japanese yen.

On the 20th, in western Germany, a meeting will be held led by the United States to discuss the military support of Western countries to Ukraine, and from the United States, Secretary of Defense Austin will participate and call on each country to continue support.
