The roads were very slippery this Friday morning in Ille-et-Vilaine due to the freezing temperatures which caused the wet ground to freeze.

Several accidents have been recorded in the department.

In Bain-de-Bretagne, a car left the road due to the ice around 8:40 a.m. at a place called La Guillaumière.

The driver of the vehicle reportedly lost control while traveling on this country road.

According to the firefighters, the two young victims were transported by the SAMU in absolute emergency to the South Hospital, in Rennes, where they were taken care of.

The father, slightly injured but very shocked, was also taken care of.

Seventeen firefighters and gendarmes were present at the scene of the accident.
