The chairman of the federation: "We would like to organize the WC in Karlstad in 2024"

It is largely thanks to the new ice rink that opened up the possibilities for international matches in Karlstad.

Now IF Boltic's sporting director Per-Erik Saikoff hopes that interest in bandy will once again grow.

- I and several others have said that if we hadn't gotten this facility, bandy would have ended here in Värmland, he says.

It is Norway, Finland, Sweden A and Sweden team 25 that will play in the tournament.

In Sweden team 25, only players born in 1998 or later are included in the squad.

The tournament is the national team's last gathering before the WC later this spring.
