Large monovolumes are on the way out.

At least with us.

Because elsewhere in the world, especially in the United States and Asia, vans intended for the transport of people are still popular.

This is what prompted Volvo to play the synergy with Zeekr, a Chinese manufacturer which, like Volvo, belongs to the giant Geely and has a vehicle of this type in its range.

long and heavy

The Zeekr 009 is a (very) large all-electric MPV capable of carrying six people in three rows of seats.

The Volvo version should be similar, with a rather luxurious finish and a substantial weight of 2.8 tonnes.

Despite this, and thanks to its power of 545 hp, the performance is there since the 0 to 100 km/h is done in just 4.5 seconds.

As for the 140 kWh battery, it promises up to 800 km of autonomy.
