According to the text of the document, a temporary ban on the export of “waste and scrap of precious metals or metals clad with precious metals, other waste and scrap containing precious metals or precious metal compounds, used mainly for the extraction of precious metals, is proposed to be extended until August 31 inclusive.
In November 2022, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade proposed to extend the quota of 600 thousand tons for the export of ferrous scrap and waste outside the EAEU until July 2023.
