The police connect several of the last few days' acts of violence in Stockholm and Uppsala to an ongoing conflict between two protagonists and their respective networks.

It is partly about a 24-year-old man with connections to the criminal network environment in Stockholm and partly about a 36-year-old internationally wanted man who goes by the nickname "Kurdish Fox".

This is stated by several independent sources.

Revenge attacks

One theory is that the acts of violence are revenge attacks to mark each other.

The conflict must be rooted in a power struggle over the drug trade in Sundsvall.

A market which the 24-year-old reportedly controls but which the 36-year-old is believed to be trying to take over.

Tuesday's explosion in a restaurant entrance in central Stockholm and Wednesday's explosion at an office building in Kista, for example, are said to have been aimed at the 24-year-old as those close to him can be linked to both addresses.

In a similar way, two shootings in Märsta and Kalhäll earlier this year are also believed to have been aimed at the 24-year-old.

At the same time, Sunday's explosion in a residential area in Uppsala and last night's shooting at a residential building in Husby must be aimed at the "Kurdish fox" as people close to him can be linked to those addresses.

All according to sources for SVT Nyheter.

Even the night's shooting just outside Uppsala may be connected to the above acts of violence, according to SVT's mapping.

Wanted internationally

The "Kurdish fox" is internationally wanted and detained in his absence.

He is suspected, among other things, of preparation for murder and is currently believed to be in Turkey.

SVT's reporter Diamant Salihu managed to get in touch with the 36-year-old last autumn.

The phone call was immortalized in the documentary Gangsterparadiset, which can be seen on SVT Play.
