Pistorius: If Poland supplies tanks to Kyiv without permission, it will be "not very friendly"

Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in an interview with the Polsat TV channel that Poland could transfer its Leopard tanks to Ukraine without waiting for Germany's consent.

"I don't think it's particularly friendly to the alliance," Pistorius was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.

According to him, so far no request has been received from Warsaw to Berlin for the supply of tanks to Kyiv.

Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced his readiness to send Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine if the United States supplies Abrams tanks to Kyiv.
