Ministry of Finance of Russia: maternity capital for the first child from February 1 will amount to 587,000 rubles

“The amount of maternity capital will also be increased - for the first child it will amount to almost 587 thousand rubles, and for the second child - almost 775.6 thousand,” the Ministry of Finance website says.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote that the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education, Yana Lantratova, turned to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian government, Tatyana Golikova, with the initiative to allow the use of maternity capital to pay for housing and communal services.
