An investigation for "for hit and run" and "willful violence with a weapon by destination" was opened after a refusal to comply in Cachan (Val-de-Marne) on Tuesday.
The 16-year-old driver of the vehicle was arrested and taken into custody, reports

Arrested at the hospital
The suspect, who was accompanied by a passenger, had suffered a collision with a septuagenarian shortly before the facts.
As the driver got out of her vehicle to see the damage, a BAC crew passed nearby.
At the sight of the police, the minor suddenly restarted and struck the motorist in his path.
She was slightly injured.
An officer then drew his weapon and opened fire in the direction of the driver's vehicle, wounding him in the buttocks.
His car was later found abandoned with cocaine inside.
The suspect was finally arrested a few hours later after going to the hospital to treat his injury.
His vital prognosis was not engaged.
A second investigation was opened by the IGPN concerning the shooting of the policeman.
