Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov said that the United States is pushing Ukraine to commit terrorist attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Thus, the diplomat commented on the statements of the press secretary of the State Department about the possibility of Ukrainians to strike at Crimea using weapons supplied from the United States.

“We note that the rhetoric of American officials is becoming more and more militant.

The State Department, through statements torn from reality that “Crimea is Ukraine”, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine can use American weapons to protect their territory, in fact, pushes the Kyiv regime to commit terrorist acts in Russia, ”the press service of the diplomatic mission quotes Antonov.

According to the ambassador, “criminals in Kyiv” against the background of such remarks “once again will feel complete permissiveness”, which, in turn, will increase the risks of escalating the conflict.

Antonov cites opinions according to which the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems and the agreed delivery of the Bradley BMP to Kyiv could be involved in the offensive in the Crimean direction.

As the diplomat stressed, commentators naively believe that Russia will not respond to attacks on its territory.

“It should become obvious to everyone: no matter what weapons the Americans or NATO supply to the Zelensky regime, we will destroy them,” Antonov said.

He added that pumping Ukraine with weapons from the United States or other NATO countries would only lead to an increase in the number of civilian casualties and create additional difficulties.

“It is simply impossible to defeat the Russian Federation.

Victory will be ours,” the ambassador summed up.

Earlier, US State Department spokesman Ned Price said that Kyiv independently makes decisions on how to use weapons supplied by Western countries.

According to him, the United States does not make decisions regarding the choice of targets for Ukraine.
