President Yoon Seok-yeol gave a special speech at the Davos Forum for the first time as a Korean president in nine years.



He cited restoring global supply chains as an urgent task in a global crisis marked by the corona pandemic and geopolitical conflict.



He emphasized solidarity between countries as a solution.

Including the $500 million investment being discussed with global pharmaceutical companies Merck and Novartis, the total investment amount is $800 million.



At the Korea Night event that followed, President Yoon introduced Busan as a world-class industrial and cultural convergence city and asked for support to host the 2030 World Expo.



President Yoon is returning home today after completing his trip to the UAE and Switzerland, both of which focused on the economy.
