Yemen.. Houthi escalation in Saada and the fronts of Marib, Taiz and Al-Jawf

Today, at dawn, the terrorist Houthi militia targeted civilian areas in Munabbih district in Saada governorate, killing and injuring a number of civilians, including African immigrants, and continued its combat escalation on the fronts of Marib, Taiz and Al-Jawf.

Field and local sources in Saada governorate confirmed the killing and wounding of 7 civilians, including three African immigrants, by Houthi militia fire that targeted the Al-Sheikh and Afra areas of Munabbih district, noting the continuation of the Houthi movements in the Saada border districts with Saudi Arabia.

In Marib, the militias continued their combat escalation on three fronts in the vicinity of the city of Marib, the center of the governorate, according to field sources, confirming the failure of an attempt to advance by Houthi elements towards the eastern Balak fronts in the southern axis, and on the Kasara and Al-Mushajah fronts, west of Marib.

In Al-Jawf, the militias continued their combat movements in the Al Hamad area, which is witnessing tension between the tribes and the militias, due to the killing of the Houthi supervisor Dhiab Al-Farah in the region.

In Taiz, the militias bombed residential neighborhoods in the Old Airport area, north of the city, and continued to bomb the army and resistance fronts in the north, east and west of Taiz, for the fourth day in a row, as the sources of fire were answered and silenced.

On the western coast, the spokesman for the national resistance, Brigadier General Sadiq Dowaid, confirmed that the Yemenis will continue to wage war against the militias in order to preserve the Yemeni identity in the first place.

In Abyan, military and security sources warned of the return of attacks by terrorist elements to the Omran Valley, east of the Mudiyah district, with the aim of destabilizing the liberated areas near Aden.

She pointed out that terrorism is regrouping in eastern Abyan, and is planting explosive devices on the roads used by the joint forces and the security belt forces, and many of them have been detected and nullified.

Meanwhile, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council issued military and security decisions in light of the results of the decisions of the Supreme Military and Security Committee, including the appointment of Muhammad Salih al-Shaeri as commander of the military police, Brigadier General Nasser Abd al-Rab as director of military intelligence, and Brigadier General Abdullah Abdul Rahim al-Shamiri as director of legal affairs at the Ministry of Defense.

On the other hand, the official Saba news agency reported that the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, stressed during his meeting today with the Director of the Middle East Department of the German Berghof Organization, which is active in efforts to support and enhance opportunities for peace and social peace around the world, the importance of correcting the erroneous narratives regarding the Yemeni issue, and its roots. It is the basis for building realistic solutions that meet the aspirations of the Yemeni people for stability, development and a better future.

It coincides with the departure of the UN envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, from Sanaa, after a two-day visit, amid optimism that he will achieve a real breakthrough in the contentious files.

In Sana'a, the militias continued to abuse the Al-Tawq tribes for their efforts to plunder the lands of the tribes for the benefit of their members, according to tribal sources, confirming that the militias had kidnapped 18 residents of the Hamedan district, north of the capital, on the grounds of their refusal to give up their lands. They also imposed a siege on the areas of Beit Dudah and Beit Al-Husam. Beit Bishr, Khibara, Beit Sala, and Al-Asha.

In the Bani Matar district, west of Sana'a, the militia bombed the isolation of Al-Barwiya, after conducting a combat campaign to the area, against the background of the people's refusal to give up their lands, and clashed with Houthi elements, which led to the death of a Houthi supervisor and the wounding of others.

In Al-Bayda, the militias stormed the homes of their opponents in the Rada'a district, and kidnapped a number of the district's residents, after they refused to hand over lands in the center of the district to Houthi elements from Saada.
