US authorities intend to allocate $ 125 million to help the energy system and infrastructure of Ukraine

"USAID will allocate $125 million for the purchase of equipment, including additional gas turbines, transformers, equipment for the repair of distribution substations and backup power supply," RIA Novosti quoted the agency as saying.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that more than half of all energy facilities in Ukraine were damaged.
