Lee Jae-myung, the representative of the Democratic Party of Korea, will reveal his position on the prosecution's second summons notice on the afternoon of the 18th.

Cho Jeong-sik, secretary general of the Democratic Party, said at a meeting with reporters after the Supreme Council meeting this morning, "I plan to directly comment on whether or not Lee will attend after visiting the Mangwon market in the afternoon."

The day before yesterday, the prosecution notified Lee that he would appear at the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office on the 27th in relation to the 'suspicion of the development of Wirye and Daejang-dong'.

Since then, CEO Lee has discussed countermeasures with party officials while refraining from commenting on whether or not he was present.

Secretary-General Cho said, "The atmosphere of the party as a whole is that we should not respond lightly to the prosecution's reckless actions."

Chief Spokesman Ahn Ho-young also said, "In general, lawmakers are in an atmosphere that the prosecution's summons is an unfair disgrace for political oppression, so they should not respond."
