It is regrettable that a couple of pilots were involved in an accident on the same airline company's plane with a difference of 17 years in the Nepal airliner crash.

According to Reuters on the 16th (local time), Yeti Airlines told the story of Anju Kitiwada, co-pilot of the ATR-72 that crashed near Pokhara Airport on the 15th.

It is said that her husband, pilot Deepak Bokrel, died while flying a small passenger jet for the same airline in 2006.

The husband, who passed away first, crashed on June 21, 2006 at the domestic airport in Jumla, Kamali, Nepal, while driving a Canadian-made small propeller airliner 'Twin Otter' with a capacity of about 20 people.

At that time, the plane failed to land once and then hurriedly made a sharp turn to change the landing runway, causing a stall and crashing.

The accident killed all three crew members and six passengers, including pilot Voquerel.

Her husband passed away first, but Kittiwada followed him as a pilot.

According to Yeti Airlines, Kittiwada's husband's death insurance paid for pilot training.

In 2010, four years after her husband's death, Kittiwada finally proudly joined her husband's old job, Yeti Airlines, as a pilot.

Since then, while filling up 6,400 flying hours, he has smoothly adapted to the rigorous pilot life.

A Yeti Airways colleague who knew Kittiwada well praised him, saying he was "always a mission-ready man", telling Reuters.

However, on the 15th, the ATR-72, which Kittiwada served as co-pilot, waddled left and right right in front of Pokhara Airport, lost lift and crashed.

At least 68 of the 72 people on board were killed in the crash.

According to Yeti Air, Captain Kamal KC of the accident is a veteran of veterans with 21,900 flying hours.

Kittiwada also flew according to regulations, Yeti Airways insisted.

It is said that it was not the first time to fly to Pokhara.

The captain's body was recovered from the scene of the accident, but Kittiwada is still unclear.

It is said that the 'black box' that will reveal the cause of the accident, that is, the cockpit recording device and the flight recorder, etc. were recovered from the scene.
