The banditry repression brigade (BRB) and the research and intervention brigade (BRI) arrested this Monday morning six young people about to carry out a double robbery in Versailles (Yvelines).

The criminals, aged 15 to 22, intended to rob a Bouygues store and an SFR store, reports 78 Actu.

The two telephone businesses were located close to each other.

If the police were there to arrest the robbers, it was because they knew that they were going to commit theft.

They watched for criminals so they could catch them in the act.

The six suspects had divided the tasks.

Two of them were in the car and watching the surroundings.

The other four were in charge of the robberies.

They were therefore carrying tear gas canisters and traveling on scooters.

A firearm is also likely to have been part of their equipment.

Minors, these last four individuals were placed in police custody.

The targeted shops remained closed all day.
