According to the channel, units of the Russian Armed Forces destroyed a number of firing positions of the 79th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which were located on the upper floors of high-rise buildings and attics of private households on Druzhby Avenue and Moskalevsky Street.

The destruction of the positions became possible due to the long-term and methodical fire impact of tankers and crews of the Kornet anti-tank systems from the area of the hospital for WWII veterans, as well as from waste heaps in the eastern part of the city.

This allows parts of the Russian army to advance to the streets of Ivan Franko and Lesya Ukrainka.

Also, units of the Russian Armed Forces established physical control over a key transport fork in the highway 0-0530.

Over the past two months, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which controlled the fork, prevented the advance of the Russian army into the northwestern quarters of the city.

In the southwestern part of Maryinka (on the southern bank of the Osikova River), the enemy was driven out of the territory of the tire repair plant and the Nikolsky elevator to Shakhtyorskaya, Kashtanovaya, Poligraficheskaya and Urozhaynaya streets.

The T-72M1 tanks of the 1st Tank Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as M777A2 howitzers and vz.77 Dana self-propelled guns, deployed behind the waste heaps of the Kurakhovskaya Central Processing Plant, are trying to provide fire assistance to the Ukrainian infantry here.

However, in conditions of exhaustion of the garrison and lack of replenishment, fire assistance is ineffective.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Russian military had destroyed over 70 servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Krasnolimansky direction.
