It is quite possible that the "breakthrough at Lützerath" will go down in the annals of climate war history.

In fact, the ongoing "resistance" of two underground special forces in the tunnel, visits from the front from the high command and from the movement's Joan of Arc, who had come especially, symbolically clenched fists and reports of casualties from the combat area were features of a production that Ernst Jiinger seemed to be directing.

Frightening, not only because of the real war that the Ukrainians are fighting, but also for us.

It is also frightening because the frivolous volunteers from Lützerath are already being granted combatant status in public discourse, which turns the rule of law upside down.

The good right

Everyone has the right to protest against the removal, against climate policy, against any measure - of course, Greens can also take to the streets or go to court against the measures decided by their own party.

Like all fundamental rights, freedom of expression and freedom of assembly do not require justification.

Everyone has it but only within the framework of the constitutional order.

Even the constitutionally required fight for the natural foundations of life does not give a rule of thumb.

Every case of disproportionate police action must be investigated.

Here the police have a duty;

after all, there are also advertisements from our own ranks.

But the police in Lützerath stand for all of us, regardless of any ideology, to enforce the democratically established law.

Anyone who disregards this, who attacks civil servants, places himself outside the state, which is also committed to the environment.

Apparently, it is primarily about breaking the law and violence.

Every enemy of the constitution must feel the democratically constituted state power.

If it does not prevail, the climate will change in every respect.

Anyone who wants arbitrary rule must know that violence can soon easily be directed against themselves.
