The little morning surprise.

On January 11, the boss of a company in Quimper (Finistère) discovered a kilo of pure cocaine in a package that had just been delivered to his company.

According to

Le Télégramme

, the goods were hidden in a box delivered by an American supplier who has some of its parts manufactured in Mexico.

It was by cutting the plastic that surrounded the white powder that the boss and his employee understood what it was.

According to our colleagues, the manager of the company immediately alerted the police to prevent those who had "lost" their package from trying to recover it.

The cocaine would come from Mexico and would have sailed through the Panama Canal before crossing the Atlantic to arrive in Le Havre (Seine-Maritime) and being delivered to Quimper.

The mysterious box was stashed among 700 others containing electrical products.

Other torn and damaged boxes

About twenty parcels had been opened and gutted, proof that the goods were wanted.

Were other bales hidden in these damaged boxes?

Was this package forgotten?

Impossible to know.

According to

Le Télégramme

, the drug could sell for between 60,000 and 80,000 euros on resale.
