UAE President witnesses opening of "Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week"
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and a number of state leaders and representatives witnessed today the opening ceremony of the 2023 session of the "Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week", the global platform concerned with accelerating the pace of sustainability.
The inauguration, which was held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center "ADNEC", was also attended by: His Excellency Yoon Sok Yol, President of the Republic of Korea, His Excellency Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, His Excellency Kasim Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, His Excellency Wavel Ramkalawan, President of the Republic of Seychelles, and His Excellency Joao Lourenco, President of the Republic of Angola His Excellency Hakinde Hichilema, President of the Republic of Zambia, His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Yoweri Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda, His Excellency Surangel Wipes Jr., President of the Republic of Palau, His Excellency Felipe Nyusi, President of the Republic of Mozambique, His Excellency Samia Hassan, President of the Republic of Tanzania, His Excellency Aziz Akhannouch, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Morocco, and His Excellency Abiy Ahmed Ali, President Ministers of Ethiopia and His Excellency Temuco Moli, Vice President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire.
The inauguration was also attended by Lt. General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, H.H. Sheikh Dhiyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Special Affairs Advisor at the Presidential Court, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and a number of sheikhs and senior officials.
His Highness, the President of the State, welcomed the leaders and experts who are meeting in the UAE to discuss sustainability issues and challenges, ways to expand the horizons of dialogue, and intensify and join efforts to find solutions that move the world towards building a more sustainable future for future generations.
