According to the official website of the Ministry of Emergency Management, a few days ago, the Safety Production Committee of the State Council issued the "Notice of Major Production Safety Accident Investigation and Handling Listing Supervision" to the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government.
The notice pointed out that on January 8, 2023, a major road traffic accident occurred in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, in which a large truck rammed into a crowd, killing 19 people and injuring 20 others.
According to the "Major Accident Investigation and Handling Listing Supervision Measures", the Safety Committee of the State Council decided to implement listing supervision for the investigation and handling of the major accident.
The Safety Committee of the State Council stated that Jiangxi Province should, in accordance with relevant laws, regulations and rules such as the "Regulations on Reporting, Investigation and Handling of Production Safety Accidents", promptly organize and carry out accident investigations, quickly find out the cause of the accident, and strictly follow the requirements of accident investigation regulations to study and put forward handling opinions .
Before the accident case is closed, the accident investigation report (unfinalized) must be submitted to the Office of the Safety Committee of the State Council for review and approval, and Jiangxi Province will be responsible for the approval and closure of the case and release it to the public.
After the case is closed, the accident investigation report and the implementation of the accident handling decision must be reported to the Office of the Safety Committee of the State Council for the record in a timely manner.
