The European Commission announced plans to allocate a new tranche of €3 billion to Ukraine this week

This was stated by the Executive Vice-President of the EC Valdis Dombrovskis on his Twitter.

According to him, he signed a memorandum on providing Kyiv from the EU with a new package of macro-financial assistance for 2023 in the amount of up to €18 billion in loans.

"The first payment of €3 billion is due later this week," he said.

Earlier, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, said that the first tranche of the macro-financial assistance program for the Kyiv regime in the total amount of €18 billion for 2023 would be transferred in January.
