"Deputy Secretary Sherman, Deputy National Security Adviser Jon Finer, and Deputy Minister Kohl traveled to Kyiv to meet with President Zelensky," the State Department said in a statement.
It is noted that in Kyiv, the delegation held talks with Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and Ukrainian Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov.
Earlier it became known that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will participate in the meeting of the contact group on arms supplies to Ukraine at the US Ramstein air base in Germany on January 20.
