• The López Miras regional panel would win the elections in the Region of Murcia, would surpass the entire left and could govern without Vox

  • The municipal Panel

A little over four months before the electoral call,

Fernando López Miras

greases his team.

The president of the Region of Murcia, by surprise, executed a government crisis on Monday that gave way to a remodeling of his cabinet.

The first exit is that of

Mabel Campuzano

, to date Minister of Education and former Vox regional parliamentarian, who came to the Murcian Executive after the failed motion of no confidence in March 2021.

With the territorial accounts approved for weeks and the dynamics of the polls favorable, López Miras thus activates the first remodeling of the leadership of his Government since the recomposition that he was forced to do, precisely when Ciudadanos, the PSOE and Unidas Podemos tried to to oust the Popular Party of the Region with the motion, two years ago now.

Campuzano's will not be the only institutional modification of the day.

It is expected, as confirmed by the Murcian Government, that López Miras appear this afternoon, at 6:30 p.m., to announce the composition of his team for the final stretch of the legislature.

This same Monday, the poll prepared by

Sigma Dos

for

EL MUNDO

calculated an unstoppable rise in the PP in Murcia: nine points more than in 2019, which would allow López Miras to govern with practically no external support.

Only two or three seats away from an absolute majority, if regional elections were held today the Region would once again become one of the great

popular

bastions .

Everything, at the cost of a Ciudadanos that would disappear from the regional map, of a PSOE that would lose more than three points compared to the last elections and of a Vox that, despite growing almost six points and continuing to establish itself as the most powerful territory for those of Santiago Abascal could be left out of the autonomous government of López Miras.
