Every day, Europe 1 looks at an idea or a problem in your daily life.

From this Monday, the new fuel check worth 100 euros comes into force for the most modest households who need their vehicle to go to work.

This new aid replaces the ten cents per liter discount, but remains insufficient for some motorists.

"100 euros compared to everything we put in the car a year, it's not huge", judge Justine at the gas pump.

But with a liter of diesel at 1.80 euros, the fuel check will always be good to take.

This compensation, worth 100 euros, comes into force on Monday and replaces the rebate of ten centimes per liter which ended on December 31.

It concerns the most modest households who need their vehicle to go to work.

"It's not 100 euros that will change a year of diesel"

With this check, Justine will be able to fill up her car with "two small fill-ups".

Her husband, on the other hand, will be satisfied with a single full tank: "He does a lot more kilometers than me per day", continues the motorist.

Antoine for his part would have preferred to maintain the rebate of ten centimes per litre.

For him, this new aid is only a drop of water: "It's not 100 euros that will change a year of diesel that you put in your car".

Others, like Teddy, will not be entitled to this check.

His income exceeds by a few tens of euros the salary scale set at a maximum of 1,314 euros net per month for a single person to be able to claim this aid.

Which leaves him with a slightly bitter taste: "We have the impression that the segment of the population which is neither poor nor rich in France, is always the most neglected segment, the most deprived", he regrets.

This does not prevent him from having his opinion on this new allowance: "Is it really the solution to make gift certificates? Basically, the problem is not solved".

The motorist is worried in the long term about a trivialization of the liter of fuel at almost 2 euros, to which everyone is likely to get used according to him.
