The employee actually got rid of entire bags of letters and parcels.

The aggrieved residents have come forward to La Poste, the town hall but also on social networks.

Letters were found in several streets of the city, in yellow bins for sorting or even La Poste relay boxes.

Bundles of newspapers were also abandoned in the forest of Sénart (Seine-et-Marne), and packages were emptied of their contents.

La Poste has confirmed the incidents.

By looking into the relevant rounds, the company was able to identify a suspect.

“Thanks to reinforcements, the situation has now returned to normal,” assured the group.

The letters found were returned to their recipients.

A complaint has been filed by La Poste against its ex-employee.
