The so-called “Davos Conference”, where the world's political and business leaders gather, will start on the 16th.


This year, under the theme of "cooperation in a divided world," countermeasures will be discussed regarding the situation in Ukraine, climate change countermeasures, interest rate hikes under record inflation and their impact.

The World Economic Forum's annual meeting, known as the 'Davos Conference', which is held annually in Davos, high in the Alps, in eastern Switzerland, will be held online in 2021 and postponed in 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. was postponed to May.



This year will be held from the 16th to the 20th, and about 2,700 people will participate, including German Chancellor Scholz and European Commission Chairman von der Leyen, as well as more than 50 government representatives and business executives.

Another major focus is on issues that require cooperation among countries, such as central bank interest rate hikes and their economic impact under record-breaking inflation, and climate change measures, whose delays have been pointed out due to the energy crisis.



Attention will be paid to whether effective solutions that influence the policies of each country and the behavior of companies will be presented.
