More than 30 assaults on shops have been clarified in a joint operation between the National Police and the Civil Guard.

The agents have arrested eight aluniceros, some of them from the El Churrita gang, for committing at the end of last year

a frenetic wave of hits in stores and establishments in Madrid

and other provinces such as Seville.

In the intervention, 14 high-end vehicles used to "commit large-scale robberies" have been recovered.

According to the Police, the detainees are accused of an alleged crime of belonging to a criminal group,

robbery with force, robbery and theft of motor vehicles, crime against public health, reception

and documentary falsification.

The value of the stolen effects exceeds one million euros and the imprisonment of the four main people responsible for the investigated network has been ordered.

The investigation began when the agents found out about the theft of three vehicles

of a certain brand, a die-cutting machine to make license plates and 40 license plate supports, among other effects, in a vehicle dealership.

The agents verified that there was a relationship between the theft of high-performance vehicles and the assaults on establishments and industrial warehouses, where they stole "a multitude of high-value products," such as cash from inside

safes, mobile phones, jewelry and perfumes, among other objects.

In total, four searches were carried out in which abundant material was recovered from the investigated robberies and various tools to commit them, as well as one of the high-end vehicles used in several moon landings, stolen in Portugal.

Among the most noteworthy facts that the detainees are accused of is a pursuit between the Local Police and three stolen vehicles, where one of the agents was forced to use his service weapon to repel a threat with a firearm displayed from one of the participating vehicles.

Two of them are also involved

in the robbery of a jewelry store in broad daylight with an alleged firearm

and fire extinguishers in a shopping center in Madrid.

The Police have already arrested two other people for this latest robbery who managed to steal almost 200,000 euros in jewelry, using great violence and using maces to enter the establishment.
