“The commander with the call sign “Magyar” said that the Russians occupied the industrial zone near mine No. 7 in Soledar, which was previously held by the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the statement said.
He added that the front is currently outside of Soledar.
On the evening of January 12, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the completion of the liberation of Soledar.
The Washington Post also reported that the Ukrainian army is considering the possibility of a retreat from Bakhmut (Artyomovsk).
