Al-Jazeera correspondent reported the death of two Palestinian youths this morning, Saturday, by Israeli occupation forces' bullets in Jenin, in the northern West Bank.

The reporter said that the two young men, Izz al-Din Hamamra (24 years old) and Amjad Khaliliya (23 years old), were killed when the occupation soldiers opened fire on a car they were inside near the village of Jaba, south of Jenin.

He added that another young man, Yazan Izzat al-Ja'bari, 19, from the town of al-Yamoun, died of wounds sustained in clashes with the occupation forces in the village of Kafr Dan, west of Jenin, at the beginning of this year.

This brings the death toll since the beginning of this year to 12, including 3 children.

Yesterday, thousands of Palestinians mourned the bodies of the two martyrs, Habib Kamil and Abdel-Hadi Nazzal, who were killed by the Israeli occupation forces on Thursday in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.

The mourners chanted slogans denouncing the crimes of the occupation army and its settlers, while calling on the Palestinian factions to strengthen national unity in the face of the occupation and to provide international protection for the Palestinians.

Settler attacks

On the other hand, a number of Palestinians were injured yesterday, Friday, as a result of an attack by a group of settlers on Palestinian youths and foreign solidarity activists near the town of Al-Auja, north of Jericho.

A video clip showed settlers blocking the road, besieging them, assaulting them with sticks, and insulting them.

In the Gaza Strip, on Friday, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) organized a solidarity stand in the city of Khan Yunis in support of Al-Aqsa Mosque and in support of the popular resistance in the cities of the West Bank.

The participants in the vigil raised banners denouncing the Israeli violations in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

They also chanted slogans to support the resistance in Nablus, Jenin, and all occupied West Bank cities.
