The White House confirmed this Saturday that President Joe Biden's lawyers found more classified documents from the time he was vice president (2009-2017) in one of his mansions in Delaware (USA).

US President Joe Biden's lawyer said he found five additional pages marked 'classified' at the president's home in Wilmington, Delaware.

"While handing it over to the officials accompanying me, an additional five pages with classification marks were discovered among the accompanying material, for a total of six pages. The officials accompanying me immediately took possession of them," the special counsel said. of Biden, Richard Sauber, in a statement on Saturday.

Biden's legal team acknowledged this week that it had found classified documents related to his time as vice president in the Obama Administration at his Delaware home, including some in his garage.

Earlier, his aides had found another batch of classified documents at his residence and at a Washington think tank with which he was associated.

Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed special counsel Thursday to investigate the matter.
