President Yoon Seok-yeol arrived in the United Arab Emirates and started his state visit.

President Yoon, who defined the focus of this trip as economic summit diplomacy, will hold a summit meeting with UAE President Muhammad today (15th).

As Air Force Unit 1, carrying President Yoon Seok-yeol and his entourage, entered the UAE Air Defense Identification Zone, four Air Force fighter jets began escorting them.



Soon after, President Yoon and his wife arrived at the airport.

At the airport, three ministers and high-ranking officials, including Foreign Minister Al Nahyan, the younger brother of President Muhammad, welcomed the couple.



The President's office explained that President Yoon's visit to the UAE was the first state visit since the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries in 1980, and the first invitation since President Muhammad took office.



President Yoon, who attended a meeting with local compatriots after the airport meeting, announced that he would lay the groundwork for a breakthrough for the prosperity of both countries through this visit.

President Yoon held a summit meeting with President Muhammad today .

We plan to discuss economic agendas such as nuclear power plants, the defense industry, and investment attraction.
