A man in Hallstahammar was reported missing by his relatives on Friday afternoon, after going away on an errand and then not coming back.
The man, who is 85 years old, was last seen at Knektbacken in Hallstahammar.
He was wearing black corduroy trousers and a knee-length green overcoat.
Police are still looking for the man on Saturday, and would like to contact anyone who may have seen him.
