“The Board of the European Commission will visit Kyiv in early February, we will be able to discuss at this meeting with the Ukrainian government all the dossiers related to preparations for joining the EU,” TASS quoted her as saying.
At the same time, von der Leyen did not specify the number of European commissioners who will go to Kyiv.
Earlier, Politico, citing an EC official, reported that the head of the European Commission plans to visit Kyiv with the European Commissioners for consultations.
It is assumed that von der Leyen may be accompanied by 10-15 commissioners, including EC Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis, European Commissioner for Economics Paolo Gentiloni and EU diplomat Josep Borrell.
