“The use of chemical weapons by the Ukrainian army and mercenaries are facts that have taken place, they are documented ... They were used both in Soledar and Artyomovsk,” TASS quotes him.

According to him, the militants used chemical grenades, both created in the USSR and foreign ones.

The expert noted that there were cases of hospitalization of fighters with pulmonary edema and burns of the respiratory tract.

Gagin expressed the opinion that Ukrainian militants used such weapons back in Mariupol, but only now it has attracted wide attention. 

Earlier, the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published a video in which they openly threatened to use self-made kamikaze drones against Russia, presumably with hydrocyanic acid (Germany used it to exterminate Jews in concentration camps).
