The police have started a preliminary investigation into murder and cordoned off the place where the man was found.
- There are a number of unclear circumstances that mean that a crime cannot be ruled out, and exactly what those circumstances are is something that belongs to the preliminary investigation, says police spokesperson Monica Bergström.
What will the police do now during the night and beyond?
- We have worked, among other things, by knocking on doors and talking to people who may have information to provide about the incident in other ways.
We will carry out a forensic examination and the deceased person will undergo a forensic examination.
So there is a lot of investigative action left to do.
No one is currently in custody.
