“These were very difficult decisions with implications for the future of Japan and the world.

At the same time, I believe that these decisions were the right ones for our country and the whole world,” Kishida said.

Earlier, the US and Japanese authorities confirmed their intention to continue to exert sanctions pressure on Russia and support Ukraine.
