The gratitude.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Culture on Tuesday hailed the works produced across the country by street artist C215, from Val-de-Marne, reports Actu Val-de-Marne.

“The French response to Banksy,” the ministry said on Twitter, sharing several frescoes by C215, whose real name is Christian Guemy.

These were carried out in March and April 2022, just weeks after the start of the war in Ukraine.

Very proud to get a recognition from Ukraine culture ministry for my works left in Ukraine in march and april of last year, at the very beginning of the invasion 🇺🇦🇫🇷 https://t.co/T3FVQBd04B

C215 expressed on Twitter his pride in "getting recognition" from the ministry for his murals.

The street artist took the opportunity, a few hours later, to give his news in the form of a video.

We see him doing new graffiti on buildings destroyed by bombing and tanks abandoned in the middle of the streets.
