“Defense Minister Margarita Robles will receive 225 Ukrainian soldiers and combatants at the Torrejon airbase, who will be trained in Spain over the next few weeks,” writes RIA Novosti.
It is noted that about 200 people are mobilized civilians without military service experience.
Basic combat training will be organized for them.
The rest will take a basic course in the anti-aircraft artillery regiment at the El Copero military base.
In December last year, the Spanish Ministry of Defense announced plans to train about 2.4 thousand of the military Armed Forces of Ukraine per year.
