“Even in the current conditions of the most severe economic, political, forceful, informational pressure on us from the West, the consolidation of Russian society, the integrity of the country does not face any threats,” the chairman noted.

According to Matviyenko, improving Russian federalism is a critical task "in today's rapidly changing world."

Earlier, Valentina Matvienko stressed that all Russia's partners adequately assess what is happening around the Ukrainian conflict.
