Hungarian President warns NATO against being drawn into conflict in Ukraine

According to RIA Novosti, the president called on diplomats to work "in the spirit of mutual respect for each other's cultures" and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization "to stay out of the war."

“We need to be pragmatic, but we also need to think about the survival of Europe,” the president said.

Earlier, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto welcomed the ceasefire announced by Russia for Christmas.
