The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that a Palestinian was martyred today, Thursday, and 7 others were wounded by the Israeli occupation forces in separate areas of the West Bank.
Also, 19 Palestinians were arrested throughout the West Bank during the past hours, including 14 in the Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem.
This brings the number of martyrs during the past 24 hours to 3, according to the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa).
The ministry said that Palestinian Awni Aslan was martyred at dawn today, Thursday, in Qalandia camp, south of Ramallah, during a campaign of arrests carried out by the occupation forces.
According to the Qalandia Media Center, Aslan was shot in the chest while he was trying to protect his son and prevent his arrest. The occupation forces prevented the people from treating Aslan and left him bleeding until he died.

On the other hand, the Al-Jazeera correspondent said that 7 Palestinians were injured during an infiltration operation carried out by the occupation soldiers in the Old City of Nablus.
It indicated that the occupation forces arrested 3 Palestinians before their withdrawal, and that special Israeli units infiltrated the western area of the Old City, and as soon as they were discovered by resistance fighters, armed clashes broke out, after which the occupation forces sent military reinforcements to the vicinity of the Old City and the main axes in the city center.
For months, the Israeli army has been storming Nablus and its old town, in pursuit of the "Black's Den" armed group, killing and arresting a number of its members.
The Lions' Den appeared publicly in a military parade in early September in the Old City of Nablus, and its members belong to various Palestinian factions.
The group carried out operations against Israeli targets, during which an Israeli soldier was killed on October 12, 2022.

On the other hand, the Palestinian Prisoners Club reported that the Israeli occupation forces arrested 19 Palestinians in various parts of the West Bank in the past hours.
He added that the arrests were concentrated in the Qalandia camp and in the governorates of Qalqilya, Bethlehem, Hebron and Jenin.
Eyewitnesses reported that large forces stormed those areas, assaulted their residents, arrested Palestinians and took them to investigation camps on charges of resisting the occupation.
It is noteworthy that the occupation forces killed 224 Palestinians during the past year 2022, including 59 martyrs from Jenin Governorate, and 61 children.
