In southern Sweden and in parts of the Norrland coast, there has been three times as much precipitation as normal during the first week of the year.

It has been the wettest in parts of Östergötland, where the amount of rain has been up to five times as high as usual.

SMHI has now issued yellow warnings for high flows in parts of Blekinge, Kalmar, Kronoberg, Stockholm and Södermanland counties and in areas between Vänern and Vättern.

All warnings apply until further notice.
