He announced this while congratulating the employees of the prosecutor's office on their professional holiday.

“I draw special attention to the need to strengthen supervision over the timely fulfillment of the state defense order,” the president said.

The Day of the Prosecutor's Office of Russia is celebrated in the country on January 12.

Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev warned of criminal liability for the failure of state defense order contracts.
